In order to achieve the use of both deep and shallow water, our factory has specially developed a rod supported gravity dual-purpose sediment sampler. In shallow water areas (with a depth of less than 5m), remove the tail fins and counterweights, connect extension rods, and use pole supported sampling. In deep water areas (with a depth greater than 5m), install tail fins and counterweights, connect ropes, and use gravity sampling.

Three usage methods

Connect the striking handle, extension rod, and sampler in shallow water areas.After determining the sampling location, insert the sampling tube vertically into the water and feel that the sampler is not sinking (the cutting head has already entered the mud). Lift the sampler up by about 10-20 centimeters, and then move it back, forth, left, and right by 10-20 centimeters to determine the new sampling point.

Connect the bottom end of the tail weight to the sampler in the deep water (water depth greater than 5m) area, then fasten the rope to the top end of the tail weight and slowly release it into the water. After sinking directly to the bottom of the water, pull back the tail weight.
